Who are we? 

“The Airbnb for motorhomes and caravans”, that's the easiest way to describe the Camptoo concept. Camptoo makes an adventurous camper holiday possible for everyone by sharing each other's campervan. We are a young, fast-growing company that is currently undergoing significant internationalization. Camptoo now operates in eight countries and aims to become the European market leader. To date, we have booking revenues around 20 million euros per year and our goal is to expand further with an aim of 100 million euros booking revenue per year. As a part of this, we are looking for a highly motivated head of marketing who can help to generate this growth.


Your Role
Marketing is an essential part of the organization to expand the range of motorhomes and provide all vehicle owners with bookings. To further professionalize our marketing activities, we are looking for an experienced hands-on marketing manager who will take the marketing team to the next level. As our head of marketing you are responsible for marketing across all countries and you are constantly looking for ways to maximize the growth in vehicles and bookings. You will do this with a team that includes a Growth Hacker, SEA expert, Product owner, PR manager & various country managers & local PR agencies. You keep an overview and are strategically involved, but you also go in depth to analyze specific campaigns and see where there are opportunities to make campaigns even smarter.

Main responsibilities:
- Build and manage the marketing team
- Lead and direct the team and partners on content strategy and ensure there is creative and compelling content on all channels and platforms.
- Inspire, develop, coach and mentor the team. 
- Continuous development of the marketing strategy and getting the marketing team to deliver on the strategy set.
- You work together with country managers to adjust the strategy locally and ensure that local learnings are implemented globally.
- Create and drive long term strategic growth from digital performance marketing channels including organic search/SEO, paid search, display and paid social to achieve ecommerce sales and traffic targets.
- Setting up and improving internal marketing processes and structure to steer growth and internationalization in the right direction.
- Ownership of the marketing budget.

Requirements

Who are you?

  • Proven experience with growing a B2C brand (preferably within the eCommerce sector) within a high growth start-up/scale up environment.

  • You are a true brand marketing leader and have a strong feeling for quality in building brands.

  • Comfortable in an scale up environment, implementing processes and structure where needed.

  • Experience in managing, growing and getting the best out of a team.

  • Broad knowledge of marketing channels and strategies from Social, SEO, SEA, display, CRM marketing to Affiliates.

  • Have solid understanding of market research and data analysis methods

  • Be a leader with both creative and analytical capabilities

  • Customer-driven, you know what moves people and how you can respond to this.

  • Have outstanding communication (written and verbal in English) and interpersonal abilities.
